TikTok stars Squirmy and Grubs expecting first child together

TikTok creators Squirmy and Grubs, whose real names are Hanna and Shane Burcaw, have announced that they are expecting their first child in January.

The couple shared the news on social media, revealing that Hanna is 20 weeks pregnant and posting ultrasound images.

They said both mother and baby are doing well and that they plan to share updates about the pregnancy with their followers. Shane is also expected to document the experience through a baby blog, while Hanna said the couple would prefer to fulfil some of their followers’ wishes rather than receive congratulatory baby gifts.

The pair also acknowledged the emotional difficulties associated with IVF treatment and noted that pregnancy announcements can be bittersweet for people who are experiencing fertility challenges. Shane, who has spinal muscular atrophy, and Hanna built a large online following by sharing details about their relationship and answering questions from viewers. They married in 2020.

The couple began IVF treatment in 2022 but later took a break after receiving disappointing test results. Their latest announcement marks a major milestone in a fertility journey they have previously discussed publicly with their audience.
