The Chairman Civil Societies Coalition (CSO), Comrade Abdullahi Jabi, has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters to engage in issue-based discussions devoid of abusive language in the campaigns for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state in 2027.

Comrade Jabi who also of the Campaign for Democracy Human Rights Advocacy Civil Society of Nigeria, stated this at the weekend in Minna at the inauguration of the State Working Committee (SWC) of the APC Connect Naija together, Niger state chapter.

He said, “The 2027 Presidential and Governorship election in Niger State shall be very competitive among political parties candidates, Therefore Campaign should be on issues based devoid of abusive statement, Zero tolerance to electoral violence and thuggery”.

He urged stakeholders in election management to be honest, free, Fair, credible with integrity in the conduct of the 2027 general elections, adding that, “this is necessary in order to earn the confidence of the electorates/voters and Nigerians”.

Addressing members, the Niger state Coordinator of the APC Connect Naija together for 2027, Ambassador Ola Mathew (JP) assured that the group has began massive mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for victories in 2027 elections.

He said, “The efforts of the Federal Government are yielding positive results and highly impactful on the lives of citizens. I can assure you that the achievements recorded so far by the state and federal government have been speaking for the President and Bago in terms of campaigns for second term reelection in 2027”.

The state coordinator assured of active women mobilisation towards massive voting for all APC candidates across board at the state and national levels, adding that we are working hard to ensure victory for APC in 2027.
