âWould you ask this same question to a gynaecologist who looks at female gen!t@ls every day?â â Actor Daniel Etim Effiong questions critics of his k!ssing scenes
Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has questioned critics who object to his k!ssing scenes in movies, arguing that the nature of an act does not automatically make it good or evil.
Speaking in a video, the actor asked whether the same people would question a gynaecologist for examining female gen!t@ls as part of his profession.
“Would you ask this same question to a gynaecologist? Do you know who a gynaecologist is? Of course, a guy is a doctor, a medical doctor that saves lives and works with women and looks at the female gen!t@ls every day,” he said.
Daniel argued that a person’s intentions and condition of the heart should determine how an action is judged, rather than simply looking at the action itself.
Referencing the Bible, he said what comes from a person’s heart is more important than what is seen externally.
He added that even something as simple as looking at someone or shaking their hand could be used for evil purposes, arguing that such actions could be more harmful than k!ssing someone.
“There’s a condition of a man’s heart that judges what he does, that qualifies what he does, that makes it good or evil. It’s not what you see from the outside; it’s what the man is, the condition of his heart,” he said.
