“Many rich men in Nigeria are not attractive” — Woman slams rich men over ‘bad personality’

A Nigerian woman has argued that many wealthy men in Nigeria are not attractive because they have little personality outside their ability to make money.

According to her, the obsession with wealth has become so strong that Nigerians often use money and social status to measure themselves and others.

She said people could be having ordinary banter online, only for one person to insult the other by calling them poor or reminding them of their financial background.

The woman also argued that having money does not automatically make someone interesting, well-mannered or pleasant to be around.

“Money is not a mark, instead money is a revealer. After you get money finished, work on your person. Personality still matters a lot,” she said.

She added that some people believe money can cover up bad character, but argued that people ultimately have to deal with the individual behind the wealth.
