Yobe varsity warns students against night study along highway

The management of Yobe State University has warned students against studying at night along the Gujba Road/Expressway.

In an internal circular recently issued and signed by the Secretary to the Registrar, Ibrahim Liman, on behalf of the Registrar, the university said its attention had been drawn by security operatives to the activities of some students who engage in night study along the major highway.

“The management directed all students residing on campus to desist from the act with immediate effect”, the university ordered.

According to the circular, all forms of reading and studying should be done within the four walls of the university premises.

It advised students to adhere strictly to the directive in their own interest and for security reasons.
