Peller’s wife Jarvis pregnant, expects new born barely 2 months after wedding
Popular Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, and his wife, Elizabeth Amaduo, popularly known as Jarvis, have announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple confirmed the pregnancy on Thursday through a joint social media post, accompanied by photographs from a maternity shoot showing Jarvis with a visible baby bump.
The announcement brings an end to months of speculation among their fans, who had repeatedly questioned whether the TikTok stars were expecting a child. Blueprint reports
In the emotional announcement, the couple described the pregnancy as a new chapter in their relationship, saying they had gone through laughter, tears, prayers and growth together.
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon-to-be parents,” they wrote.
“We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve prayed, we’ve grown, and through it all, God kept writing our story.”
They described their unborn child as “our greatest blessing” and “our answered prayer”, thanking God for the development.
“Peller & Jarvis… and now, a little one on the way. God, thank You for everything. This is more than we could ever ask for,” the couple added.
Months of pregnancy speculation
The announcement is particularly significant because Peller and Jarvis had previously dismissed pregnancy reports that circulated heavily on social media.
Speculation intensified in the months leading to their wedding after fans noticed what they believed was a change in Jarvis’ appearance and what appeared to be a baby bump in some photographs and videos.
In June, Peller publicly rejected the speculation, saying the couple were not planning to have a child at the time.
During a livestream, he said Jarvis’ appearance was linked to eating late at night and insisted that he wanted to become financially successful before starting a family.
The issue resurfaced repeatedly as the couple continued with their wedding preparations.
Jarvis’ ‘baby is kicking’ slip
The pregnancy speculation reached another level in early October after Jarvis appeared to inadvertently reveal an update during a livestream.
While speaking during the broadcast, she reportedly said that “the baby is kicking”, prompting Peller to quickly react and attempt to move the conversation away from the comment.
The moment circulated on social media and reignited discussions about whether the couple had been keeping the pregnancy private.
Days later, the couple officially confirmed the pregnancy through their maternity photographs.
From viral romance to marriage
Peller and Jarvis have become one of Nigeria’s most recognisable young social media couples, building a large following through comedy, livestreams and relationship-centred content.
Their relationship has been closely followed by fans, particularly because many of their major milestones have played out publicly.
Peller proposed to Jarvis before the couple proceeded with their wedding ceremonies in 2026.
They subsequently held their civil wedding in Lagos before their traditional and white wedding ceremonies, with the celebrations attracting considerable attention from fans, fellow content creators and celebrities.
Their journey from online personalities to husband and wife has continued to generate strong engagement across social media.
Fans celebrate expectant couple
Following Thursday’s announcement, congratulatory messages poured in from fans, friends and fellow entertainers.
The maternity photographs showed the couple posing together in a romantic setting, with Jarvis proudly displaying her baby bump.
The couple, however, did not disclose the expected date of delivery or reveal the sex of their unborn child.
The pregnancy marks another major milestone for Peller and Jarvis, coming only months after they formalised their relationship through marriage.
For the couple, what began as a highly publicised relationship has now entered another chapter as they prepare to become parents for the first time.
Their announcement has also transformed months of speculation into a confirmed family milestone, with fans now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the couple’s first child.
