Nigerian lady recalls when she found used condom in matrimonial bedroom after returning home unexpectedly

A Nigerian woman, Joy Chi, has recalled the intense “emotional stress” she experienced during her pregnancy allegedly due to her husband’s actions. 

In a Facebook post on Saturday, October 3, 2026, she shared a video capturing the moment she discovered a used condom and false lashes in her matrimonial bedroom after returning home unexpectedly from her mother’s house. 

According to Joy, she had been staying in her mother’s house in the final weeks of her pregnancy to escape the constant “frustrations” from her husband.

She said the incident which occurred in March 27, 2024 remains one of the hardest days of her life.

She also dismissed insinuations that the video was stage for content purposes. 

“So this video popped up my Google photos and  it took me down memory lane. 27th of March 2024 one of the day I will never forget in a hurry,” she wrote.

“Two weeks before I gave birth to my son, I went to my mom’s place coz my pregnancy was almost due and my so called husband was frustrating me, so on  this unexpected day I came to pick something only to enter the bedroom and saw this and i immediately took a video of it,” she wrote.

“The kind of emotional torture and stress I went through during my pregnancy is something that will never be erased in my memory. Lemme just save it here.”
