11 suspected drug peddlers arrested in Yobe
Troops of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Potiskum, in collaboration with operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested 11 suspected drug peddlers in Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The suspects were arrested during a joint raid conducted on Monday, in Ganda, Wudil and Degubi Bare Bari communities in the local government.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this in a post shared on X on Wednesday.
According to Makama, the operation was carried out at about 2 p.m.
“The security operatives recovered suspected illicit drugs, including cannabis, Tramadol capsules, Diazepam and Exol tablets,” Makama wrote.
Makama said the suspects and the recovered substances were handed over to the NDLEA office in Potiskum for further investigation and possible prosecution.
