Troops arrest two suspected kidnappers in Kaduna

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have arrested two suspected kidnappers at Makasa village in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Security sources said the suspects, identified as Muhammadu Nura, 35, and Monday Danjuma, 45, were arrested at about 2:15 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026 by troops of Sector 7, Sub-Sector 71, Sanga.

The arrest was part of ongoing security operations aimed at curbing kidnapping and other criminal activities in the area.

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the sources said the suspects had been taken into custody and were undergoing investigation to establish their possible involvement in kidnapping activities.
