Nigerian man d!es days to his wedding

A Nigerian man, Mgboawaji Owor has d!ed days to his wedding.
It was gathered that Owor’s traditional wedding ceremony was scheduled to take place on October 4, 2026, with reception on Sunday.
The circumstances surrounding his d3ath are not clear as at the time of filing this report.
The deceased was a staff of Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, Rivers State.
A Facebook user, Monday Rufus confirmed the sad news in a post.
“A CRY OF AGONY! OH DEATH, WHY. Words have failed us! Our hearts are shattered and bleeding profusely as we mourn the sudden and untimely transition of our beloved Senior Friend, Adviser, Father, Mentor and esteemed LIFE MEMBER (LM) of NUAS, Kenpoly Chapter,” he wrote.
“A man of inestimable value ever present, ever active, ever supportive both financially and otherwise in all Union activities.
“A true father to all Andoni students in Kenpoly; his magnificent home in Bori was a haven of love, always open to receive us with unparalleled hospitality and fatherly counsel.
“Oh, what a wicked world! What a cruel twist of fate! A man whose Traditional Marriage is slated for this Saturday, 3rd October, with Reception on Sunday, 4th October now snatched by the cold hands of d3ath at the threshold of his joy.
“We, the Andoni Students NUAS KENPOLY CHAPTER, are devastated beyond consolation. Your legacies, your philanthropy and your fatherly embrace will forever remain indelible in our hearts.
“We commiserate with his family, his wife, his children and the entire Andoni nation. May God Almighty grant his gentle soul eternal rest and grant us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Rest on, our Father! Rest on, our Adviser!”
