The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) opened its portal on Thursday July 23, 2026, for registration in the third phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 3).

The Yobe state coordinator, Hajiya Binta Aliyu, in a statement by the NDE Yobe Information Officer, Ibrahim Umar Tijjani, on Friday, made available to Journalists in Damaturu, said the programme aims to train 26,961 unemployed Nigerians.

According to the statement, those who benefited from the first and second phases are no longer eligible for the third phase.

She clarified that beneficiaries will be drawn from each council ward in the 17 local government areas of Yobe state.

“The third phase of RHEI is an initiative that aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda on job creation, human capital development, and poverty alleviation,” the statement said.

The Yobe NDE coordinator revealed that the programme would provide training in agriculture, entrepreneurship, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), technical and vocational skills, as well as special public works.

Binta Aliyu explained that women and youths aged 18 to 35 who are unskilled or unemployed are eligible.

She added that people with disabilities can also apply through www.nderegistrationportal.ng, and encouraged them to make inquiries at the office located at the Federal Secretariat, along Gashua Road, Damaturu.
