The death has occured of Alhaja Munirat Hanafi Imam Olesin, mother of the regional Editor, north central, of LEADERSHIP Newspaper, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin.
Aged 87, Alhaja Munira died on Tuesday September 8, 2026.
A statement personally issued by Olesin and made available to Blueprint.ng, stated that janaza (funeral rites) for the reposed soul of the deceased will hold at Olesin compound, Okelele, Ilorin at 2pm.
The statement reads in full, “Innalillahi Waina Ilayh Raj’una.
“With total submission to the will of the Almighty Allah, we announce the death of our mother, grand mother and great grand mother,Alhaja Munirat Hanafi Imam Olesin.
“Aged 87, Alhaja Munira died on Tuesday September 8, 2026.
“The janazah prayer will hold at Olesin compound, Okelele, Ilorin at 2pm.”
