2027: You’ll be held accountable for wasting Oyo resources on presidential ambition – APC tackles Makinde
The Oyo State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has said that governor Seyi Makinde will be held accountable for all the resources spent on his presidential ambition.
The Oyo APC spoke in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare.
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is the presidential candidate of Allied Peoples Movement, APM.
The Oyo APC described Makinde’s presidential ambition as a mere charade, saying he does not possess what is required to lead Nigeria.
The party stated that after Makinde’s tenure, he will be asked to account for all the resources of the state he spent on his presidential ambition.
“Makinde knows, in his mind, that contesting for the Nigerian presidency is not a child’s play.
“While he does not possess the personal quality, experience and strategy to be the next President in 2027, but yet, he is parading himself as the presidential candidate of the structureless Allied People’s Movement (APM).
“Makinde is being monitored as he embarks on a political journey that has failed before its commencement while he would be made to cough out all the public funds he wasted on it,” the statement said.
