Police arrest 10 suspects in Delta, recover illicit drugs
Operatives of the Delta State Police Command’s Anti-Cult Unit, CACU, have arrested ten suspects and recovered illicit drugs from them in Owhelogbo Community, Isoko North Local Government Area.
The suspects were arrested on the 4th of September 2026, at about 2130hrs.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed this in a statement sent on Sunday.
He said, “On 4th September 2026, at about 2130hrs, operatives of the Command Anti-Cult Unit (CACU), Ozoro, acting on credible intelligence on a suspect wanted in connection with an arson case at Owhelogbo Community in August, raided a brothel in Abbi, where the suspect was reportedly hiding.
SP Edafe explained that, “During the operation, ten suspects, comprising seven females and three males, were arrested, while Tramadol, Swinol, Canadian Loud and weeds suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered during the raid.
“Profiling of the suspects is ongoing, and those found culpable will be prosecuted.”
