FBI arrests rappers NBA Ben10 and OG 3Three in connection with Houston shooting
Rappers NBA Ben10 and OG3 Three were among six people arrested by federal authorities on Thursday, September 10, in connection with a shooting at a Houston restaurant earlier this year.
FBI Houston spokesperson Connor Hagen said the six suspects were arrested by the FBI and partner agencies during operations in Louisiana and Texas. Law enforcement sources said the arrests are connected to an April shooting at Confessions restaurant in Houston. NBA Ben10 was among those injured in the shooting, with court documents stating that he suffered “irreversible paralysis.”
Authorities had previously charged rapper Allstar JR in connection with the shooting. He is accused of shooting NBA Ben10 during the altercation. According to the report, surveillance footage appeared to show Allstar JR fighting with several people who seemed to be attempting to rob him.
During the confrontation, a firearm reportedly fell to the ground before Allstar JR began shooting, striking three people, including NBA Ben10, who fell to the ground. Authorities allege that Allstar JR then approached NBA Ben10 and fired three additional rounds at him. He also allegedly attempted to fire another shot at his head but had run out of ammunition.
The specific charges against NBA Ben10, OG3 Three and the four other people arrested on Thursday have not yet been disclosed. The FBI referred questions concerning the charges to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.
