Man sentenced to 7 years imprisonment for r@ping minor in Niger state
Justice Binta Bawa of a Niger State High Court has convicted 27-year-old Hussaini Suleiman for r@ping an 8-year-old girl, at his residence behind the Prison Quarters, Minna, Niger State.
The case was referred to the NAPTIP Niger State Command by the Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on 16th April 2026 following the report of the r@pe of the minor.
NAPTIP in a statement released said the convict admitted to committing the offence and was arraigned before Court 8 of the Niger State High Court, Minna, on 10th September 2026.
When the charge was read to him, the convict pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 7 years’ imprisonment.
