A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi state Thursday cautioned opposition members to discard politics of bitterness and embrace peace.

This was the underlying message at the APC Central Youth Summit in Birnin Kebbi, preparing for the 2027 general elections.

The executive chairman, Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruk Aliyu Yaro Enabo, told the crowd at the summit, that the ruling party under Governor Nasir Idris, cherished and upheld peace in political activities devoid of rancour, which should be reciprocated by the opposition.

“APC has made record achievements under the incumbent administration of President Tinubu at the federal level and Governor Nasir Idris in Kebbi state.

“We challenge the opposition to showcase anything worthwhile or  what they have done for Kebbi residents. They have nothing to show except to make noise,” Enabo said.

The Jagaban Gwandu thumped up sustained support for continuity of President Tinubu and Governor Idris to consolidate on the remarkable developmental strides of the duo, in improving the quality of life of the populace.

The vanguard of Kebbi politics, the younger brother to incumbent governor, Umar Idris Buro, expressed delight about the large crowd of people at the APC Youth Summit, saying it’s an indication of absolute vote of confidence on the administration of Governor Idris and President Tinubu.
