Caucasian woman reveals shocking experiences in Nigeria on 5th anniversary of her stay

An American woman went on Instagram to reveal some of the shocking things she experienced in Nigeria.
The woman who describes herself as a ‘culturally curious traveller’, said she moved to Nigeria 5 years ago.
She wrote: ‘It’s officially been 5 whole years since I moved to Nigeria.’
‘In honor of my five year Naija-versary, here are a few of the most outrageous things that have befallen me since my arrival.’
On slide one, she wrote: ‘Gave my number to a man at a food stall on the street (don’t judge – it was my first week in the country and was desperate to make friends as I knew absolutely no one). A day later he sent me a novel of a message declaring his love and that he wanted to “tide nut” (He meant “tie the knot”).’
She added on another slide: ‘Walked in on an AC technician using my electric razor to shave his face in my bedroom (he was supposed to be fixing the AC in the LIVING ROOM). He immediately dropped the razor and vehemently denied using it, as if i were blind. Needless to say, I negotiated myself a service fee discount.’
