APC bribing opposition Candidates with N50m to N200m and Cars to forfeit 2027 Tickets – Buba Galadima alleges

Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) chieftain Buba Galadima has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of systematically bribing opposition candidates at the state and federal levels with cash sums ranging from N50 million to N200 million, alongside vehicles, to force ticket forfeitures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time program on Tuesday night, October 7, Galadima asserted that President Bola Tinubu and APC governors are attempting to evade competitive contests by securing uncontested victories across elective seats.
Galadima claimed that financial inducements are being actively coordinated from the federal capital, alleging that an operative from Zamfara State is currently dispersing funds to opposition figures willing to withdraw from candidate rosters.
“Every member of the House of Assembly who agrees to forfeit his ticket for the APC candidate is currently being given N50 million, and members of the House of Representatives will be given N200 million with a car,” Galadima stated.
“There’s a lady from Zamfara State who is sharing the money in a hotel here in Abuja.”
He further alleged that the operation involves high-ranking party leadership, citing a recent meeting between the individual and APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, where candidates reportedly submitted formal letters of resignation after receiving payment.
