2027 election: I’ll won’t be stooge to Makinde if … – APM governorship candidate

Oyo state governorship candidate of Allied Peoples Movement,(APM), Hon Bimbo Adekanmbi, on Thursday said he will not be stooge to Governor Seyi Makinde if elected.
Hon Adekanmbi who stated this while speaking at a parley with stakeholders held in Ibadan, declared that “people should hold me accountable for my own decisions.”
According to the APM governorship candidate, Governor Makinde as a person “does not want to be a godfather”.
“Governor Makinde does not want to be a godfather. He is one of the most intelligent and cerebral persons I have ever met. However, I’m not Governor Makinde’s stooge. People should hold me accountable for my own decisions,” he said.
Hon Adekanmbi added, “Governor Makinde has raised the bar in Oyo, and we must not go back to Egypt. Like I have been saying, Governor Makinde built the bridge; Bimbo Adekanmbi will take us over the bridge.”
On the Ibadan circular road, the APM governorship candidate said
his own property in Ona Ara local government area was one of the properties affected by the Circular road.
Describing the present situation on the Ibadan circular road as painful, he said it is something that will be of interest of majority of the public.
“I am a victim of Ibadan circular road. I have a landed property in Ona Ara, it was consumed by the project. I just spoke with the affected victims, I am also one of the people affected by Ibadan circular road. It is not easy. I am pained but there is nothing I can do. If there will be development, if will affect some people and I am one of them. I am also affected,” he said.
