Thugs assault NDC supporters at marketing campaign rally, harm automobile in Delta [VIDEO]

Suspected thugs have attacked supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, at a marketing campaign rally in Delta State.

The assault occurred on Saturday whereas the supporters had been reportedly on the rally floor.

The thugs reportedly attacked the supporters and broken a automobile parked close to the venue.

Footage of the assault confirmed individuals operating for security.

While some supporters had been injured within the confusion, others had been mentioned to have misplaced their telephones and different belongings whereas making an attempt to flee.

A voice heard in a video, which has now gone viral, mentioned, “We came here to campaign in peace. We did not come to fight anybody. What happened today is not good for democracy.”
