Atiku closed down Michelin, Dunlop firms in Rivers – Oshiomhole
Edo North senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has taken a swipe on the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, accusing him of collapsing Nigerian industries.
Speaking on the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential marketing campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital on Saturday, Oshiomhole stated Atiku closed down the Michelin and Dunlop firms within the state.
He added that Atiku, who’s now complaining about unemployment, must be requested what occurred to the industries that used to present Nigerians jobs.
“Who closed down Nigerian industries? Who closed down Michelin? Who closed down Dunlop? Who lowered Nigeria to an importer of every part from underwear to socks? It was performed by the federal government and celebration which Atiku belonged to,” Oshiomhole requested.
He stated Michelin and Dunlop had been huge employers, including that once they closed, 1000’s of staff misplaced their jobs.
Oshiomhole stated Atiku can not now come and promise jobs, when his personal authorities couldn’t shield the roles that had been already there.
