NNPCL Slashes Petrol Price to N1,325 Per Litre After Dangote Refinery’s Reduction
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has diminished its petrol pump worth to N1,325 per litre following a current discount within the gantry worth by the Dangote Refinery.
A market survey on Wednesday confirmed that NNPCL shops in Abuja and its environs had adjusted their pump worth from between N1,370 and N1,405 per litre to N1,325.
The newest adjustment represents a discount of between N45 and N80 per litre throughout the affected retailers.
The new worth was reportedly carried out at NNPCL filling stations in Gwarimpa and alongside the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja.

A gas attendant at one of many retailers, who spoke on situation of anonymity, confirmed the event, saying the value was adjusted downward on Wednesday afternoon.
The discount comes barely two days after experiences indicated that filling stations throughout the nation, together with NNPCL retailers, had been anticipated to evaluate their pump costs following a recent discount within the Dangote Refinery’s gantry worth.
The refinery had diminished its petrol gantry worth to N1,215 per litre, a improvement anticipated to affect retail costs throughout the downstream petroleum market.
The newest adjustment comes amid continued worth competitors amongst gas suppliers following the deregulation of Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.
