2027: Stop utilizing your spouse, mom to play politics – Wike hits Amaechi
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike on Thursday criticized the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential operating mate, Rotimi Amaechi for utilizing his spouse and mom to play nationwide politics.
Wike made the comment whereas faulting Amaechi for claiming that he would have distanced himself from his spouse if she was the president of Nigeria and was governing like President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking throughout his month-to-month media chat in Abuja, Wike accused Amaechi of disrespecting his mom and spouse.
He mentioned: “Why do you have to bring your wife now into politics?
“A person who doesn’t respect his mom now has completed to the spouse, for Christ sake, why an harmless girl?
“You and I do know that he’s not saying the reality, I watched it on video and the way irresponsible, that your spouse is not going to be president anytime and it isn’t right, however now you may have introduced your spouse to the entrance burner of politics, which isn’t right.
