The Companion hails Yusuf Olaolu-Ali’s philanthropy, exemplary service @ 70

The national leadership of The Companion, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions, has hailed Professor Yusuf Olaolu-Ali, SAN, for devoting his life to faith, justice, scholarship, philanthropy and exemplary service to humanity.
His life, according to the statement, remains a shining testimony that faith, excellence and humility can indeed coexist at the highest levels of professional and public life.
The group made this known in a press release issued to commemorate the learned silk’s attainment of 70, a copy which was made available to Blueprint in Abuja, Wednesday.
In the statement, they described Ali as one of Nigeria’s foremost legal icons, saying his attainment of the age of 70 is, in itself, a profound blessing from Almighty Allah.
In the release signed by the National Amir, Imam Nojeem Amir, president, and publicity secretary, Professor Tunde Akanni, the national leadership noted that, over several decades, Professor Ali has distinguished himself as one of Nigeria’s finest legal practitioners and a legal luminary whose contributions have profoundly enriched the nation’s jurisprudence.
As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), they stated that he has consistently demonstrated uncommon professional excellence, integrity and intellectual depth, earning the respect of the Bench, the Bar and the wider society.
The statement reads further: “For Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali, however, this milestone is much more than the celebration of longevity; it is the celebration of a life remarkably devoted to faith, justice, scholarship, philanthropy and exemplary service to humanity.
“Over several decades, Professor Ali has distinguished himself as one of Nigeria’s finest legal practitioners and a legal luminary whose contributions have profoundly enriched the nation’s jurisprudence.
“As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, he has consistently demonstrated uncommon professional excellence, integrity and intellectual depth, earning the respect of the Bench, the Bar and the wider society.”
