Sule swears in 8 new commissioners in Nasarawa

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has swore in eight new commissioners as members of the State Executive Council (SEC).

The governor also sworn-in six new permanent secretaries, 11 new special advisers, a member, Nasarawa state Judicial Service Commission and a member, Nasarawa state Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC).

While performing the ceremony in Lafia, on Wednesday, Sule urged them to avoid all corrupt tendencies in discharge of their duties.

He said his administration was anchored on accountability, transparency, and prudent management of resources and would not tolerate corrupt tendencies.

Sule reiterated his administration’s continued commitment to key into different policies and programs that would have direct bearing on the lives of the citizens in the state.

The newly appointed commissioners to include, Muhammad Habeeb Nagogo – Tertiary and Technical Education, Ahmed Yakubu Mohammed – Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Mohammed Baba Shehu- NGOs and Disaster Management, Hon. Mohammed Iyimoga Oyigye – Agriculture and Security.

Others are Adamu Rabecca Kpadji-Women Affairs, Social Development, and Humanitarian Affairs, Nawani Aboki Information, Culture, and Tourism., Jibril Abdullahi Ibrahim FCNA, – Youth and Sports Development and Ashefo Daniel Paul, Ph.D – Lands, Survey, and Physical Planning.
