Social media user shares video of a rickety bus allowed to carry passengers in Lagos

A video circulating on social media has shown what appears to be a commercial bus operating on a Lagos road despite significant damage to its front section.

In the footage, the yellow bus could be seen moving on the road with part of its front bodywork and entrance area visibly missing.

The driver could also be seen behind the wheel as the person recording the vehicle travelled alongside it. The social media user who shared the footage expressed surprise that the vehicle was being used to transport commuters and was operating on a Lagos road in its condition.

It was not immediately clear where in Lagos the footage was recorded or whether relevant authorities had taken any action over its operation.
