Singer, Jessie J announces social media break to undergo second cancer reconstruction surgery

British singer Jessie J has announced that she is taking a break from social media as she prepares to undergo her second cancer reconstruction surgery.

The 38-year-old mum of one, shared the news on Instagram on Monday, September 7, saying she needs time to heal, recharge and focus on herself following her recent health battle, breakup and work commitments.

Jessie J was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025 and underwent surgery as part of her treatment.

She said she would be stepping away from social media for a while and thanked her fans for their continued support.

The singer welcomed her first child, son Sky Safir Cornish Colman, with former partner Chanan Safir Colman in 2023.
