Reps: Agada urges support fo Agbese

A grassroots leader from Orokam Ward 2, Hon. Eric Agada, has described the member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Philip Agbese, as the long awaited leader and divine answer to the generational prayer of Enone people.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja, and personally signed by him, Agada said for over two decades, the people of Enone cried for genuine representation, noting that their cry has finally been answered with the emergence of Hon. Agbese.

“Fellow compatriots, great people of Ogbadibo, and the entire good people of Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, history has taught us that in every generation, God does not leave his people without a leader,” Agada stated.

According to him, the people cried because they had representation without presence and leaders who only surfaced during elections, while other constituencies progressed and Enone remained in political darkness.

“But today, our cry has been answered. The Almighty God, in his infinite mercy, has finally given us the leader we have been waiting for. A leader whose name is now synonymous with light, hope, and uncommon effective representation.

“That leader is no other person than the Pride of Enone, the Talk-and-Do Representative, Rt. Hon. Philip Agbese – Okanga K’ Ogbadibo,” he declared.

Hon. Agada explained why Okanga is referred to as the light of Enone:

“We call him the light because before Okanga, nobody heard the voice of Enone at the Green Chambers. Today, because of Okanga, the voice of Enone echoes and re-echoes across Nigeria.

“We call him the light because before Okanga, empowerment was a story told to deceive us during campaigns. Today, under Okanga, our youths are being empowered, our women are being supported, our students are being given scholarships, our aged mothers are feeling governance.”

Listing the qualities of the federal lawmaker, Agada said Agbese possesses vision, courage, compassion and capacity to deliver for the people of Orokam, Owukpa, Otukpa, Ulayi, Ijigbam, Igumale, Agadagba and the entire Enone.

He warned against allowing detractors to extinguish the light Enone currently enjoys.

“Fellow party men and women, this is not the time to play politics with our light. Darkness is always waiting and struggling to take over light.”
