PDP Inaugurates New Executives in Adamawa

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated new state executives in Adamawa, marking a fresh chapter for the party’s leadership in the state.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday at Mahmud Ribadu Square, Yola, with national party officials urging the new leaders to strengthen the PDP’s presence and unity.

Chairman of the National Electoral Committee, Jalo Ganga, who supervised the election, emphasized that the executives now have full authority to discharge their responsibilities, as all caretaker committees have been dissolved.

Belmond Dogo emerged as the new state chairman, with Yusuf Hamidu as vice-chairman and Shekarau Yerima as deputy chairman.

John Tunor will serve as legal adviser, while Suzan Zira was named woman leader. Other key positions include John Musa as organising secretary, Ijudigal Jabani as treasurer, and Inuwa Baba Girei as financial secretary.

The inauguration signals renewed efforts by the PDP to consolidate its structures in Adamawa ahead of the 2027 general elections.
