Nursing mom arrested for allegedly making an attempt to promote her child for N1.5 million

A nursing mom was apprehended on Monday night time, November 2, in Owerri, Imo State, whereas allegedly making an attempt to promote her child for N1.5 million.

According to Imo-based journalist Chidiebube Okeoma, who disclosed this on social media, said that he acquired a tip from an nameless one that knowledgeable him of the nursing mom and her sinister intention.

He stated he suggested the individual to play alongside and faux to be fascinated by shopping for the child. He then directed them to fulfill at a resort near the Imo State Police Headquarters.

According to him, once they arrived on the agreed location, he drove the girl and the one that contacted him to the police station.

During questioning, the suspect allegedly blamed one other girl, claiming that she suggested her to promote the child. However, the girl she accused denied making such a suggestion.

The suspect additional claimed that she determined to promote the child as a result of she didn’t know the kid’s father and lacked the monetary means to maintain the kid.
