Air Force NAF Airstrike

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) reportedly carried out overnight airstrikes on suspected terrorists’ positions around Bagega Forest in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Local sources said the strikes targeted multiple locations after a large convoy of armed terrorists, reportedly involving hundreds of motorcycles, returned from operations around the Zamfara-Sokoto border.

Residents in the area reported hearing heavy aerial activity followed by explosions across parts of the forest, amid ongoing military efforts to disrupt terrorist groups operating along the forest corridors.

However, the exact number of targets hit and casualties recorded among the terrorists could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report.
