Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a prominent Fulani socio-cultural organisation, has issued a strong warning that it may withdraw support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections unless its national president, Bello Bodejo, is released from the custody of the State Security Service (SSS).

The group stated its position during a press conference held at Bodejo’s residence in Uke, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The event drew Fulani leaders from various parts of the country.

Speaking on behalf of the organisation, Nasarawa State chairman Akhajo Abubakar declared that the group would only back political leaders who demonstrate genuine commitment to the welfare and development of the Fulani community.

“We did not vote for APC to arrest our leaders. Our votes this time will go to those who want our progress,” Abubakar said.

He further claimed that Fulani voters in Nasarawa State number more than one million, though he offered no official figures or evidence to support the assertion.

Bodejo is currently facing a money laundering charge. A court had earlier reduced the bail conditions attached to the case.
