BREAKING: Abducted NYSC member regains freedom after days in captivity
Sandra Sunday, one of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members who were abducted along the Kabba–Lokoja road in Kogi State, has regained her freedom after days in captivity.
The development was confirmed to DAILY POST by a family member of the victim on Monday.
Sandra was among the corps members reportedly kidnapped while travelling through the Kogi axis after her orientation camp, an incident that sparked concerns among Nigerians over the safety of young graduates posted for national service.
Although details surrounding her release remain sketchy at the time of filing this report, her family expressed gratitude to God and everyone who contributed to efforts that led to her freedom.
The news comes as relatives of other victims and concerned Nigerians continue to hope for the safe return of those still in captivity.
