Man caught removing roofing sheets from building under construction in Ilorin (video)

A man has been nabbed after sneaking into the roof of a building under construction to steal the roofing sheets.
He was caught this morning, September 17 in Ilorin. 
A video shared online showed him being confronted by a man after he was seen high up inside the roof. 
He was eventually bundled into the trunk of a car and handed over to the police. 

The man whose family home the thief attempted to steal from wrote on X: “This animal in human skin was caught this morning removing the Gerrard roofing sheets at my family property in Ilorin. What an audacity!
“Sincerely, I am tired of this wanton destruction of people property. This property is located in a fully developed area in Ilorin (an estate).
“We noticed that these thieves started removing the sheets few days ago. Then, we set a trap for them and he was caught in the middle of the act this morning.
“He was arrested and handed over to the NSCDC in Ilorin for his prosecution. I am tired. What country are we building?”
