The 2027 presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, has released fresh and detailed evidence showing that he left billions of naira in the coffers of the Anambra State Government when he left office as governor.

The fresh documents were posted on X by the Kwankwasiyya Movement, a support group for Obi’s running mate, Rabi’u Kwankwaso.

DAILY POST reports that this is the second time Obi has released his handover document to the public for scrutiny.

This comes following an allegation by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration that it was still repaying debts incurred by the previous administrations of Peter Obi and Willie Obiano.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate had debunked the claim and countered the report with a handover document as evidence.

“Look at those bank balances very well. The bank officials signed them with their full names and positions clearly written on them.

“Wow! Go and verify. May Peter Obi happen to Nigeria. What a man,” the Kwankwasiyya Movement stated.
