City Boy Movement flaggs off e- membership registration exercise in Adamawa

Ahead of the 2027 general election, the City Boy Movement,  a political group within the All Progressives Congress  ( APC)  founded  by the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, has embarked upon E- membership registerion  across all the 21 local governments and 226 electoral wards  of Adamawa state.

Flagging up the exercise weekend in Yola, the director of the movement, who is also the member representing Fufore/ Gurin federal constituency, Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya, represented by DanAsabe Sulaiman, said that the registerion exercise was aimed at strengthening the organisation and improving the data base of its members ahead of the election.

He urged all the participants from the 21 local governments in the state to take advantage of this opportunity to register more members at the grassroots across all the 226 electoral wards of the state.

Boya who promised to handsomely reward any local government that is able to register highest number of members in the ongoing exercise stressed that the National body of the movement  would continue to assess the strength and performance of  their members based on the number of members registered in their data base.

Also speaking, Adamawa state cordinator of the  movement Dan Asabe Takarda, said that the event was more than  just a registration exercise  but a demonstration  of their unwavering commitments  to strengthening unity.

He tasked  participants to ensure the success of the exercise  especially at their various wards and local government by making sure that their people were captured and mobilised to participate actively in 2027.

On his part, the Director  Mobilization, Alh. Adamu Mohammed, urged the participants to also step down the exercise to all the 226 electoral wards of the state, noting that they have been given the mandate by the national body of the movement to to register not fewer than 280,000 members across the state.
