ADSI member Adam backs court decisions on suspension of trustees
A member of the Registered Trustees of Arewa Development Support Initiative (ADSI), Safaa Musa Usman Adam, Monday commended and backed the decisions of the Federal High Court in Abuja that suspended Khurairah Musa and Celina Gar as trustees of ADSI.
The court, in its judgment, also nullified all actions taken by them between 1 March and 30 April, 2024.
In the judgment which was delivered by Justice J. O. Abdulmalik on 30 September, 2026, in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/1572/2024, stated that the court’s decisions followed a prolonged dispute over the removal of registered trustees and the organisation’s governance.
In a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja, Adam, an ADSI member, alleged that Khurairah Musa unilaterally orchestrated the removal of active members of the registered trustees of ADSI, including the secretary general.
Her unlawful actions, the statement said, started with engaging unsuspecting lawyers to fabricate the necessary Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) documentation secretly and without the consent or knowledge of the secretary general and other victimised members of the registered trustees, a decision he said caused them to be removed as members of the registered trustees of ADSI.
While commenting on the court’s outcome, Adam called on trustees and members to respect the judgment, end further division, and return the initiative’s attention to the development of Arewa and the welfare of its people.
