Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the attendance of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, at the inauguration of the campaign office of his Allied Peoples Movement, APM, counterpart, Seyi Makinde.

Sani, in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, likened Obi’s political move to a person selling one soft drink while promoting a competing brand.

“Peter is selling Pepsi and he is doing promo for Coke,” the former lawmaker wrote.

DAILY POST reports that Obi attended the inauguration of Makinde’s campaign office in Abuja on Monday.

The event was attended by prominent political figures, including the National Leader of the APM and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.

Mohammed warned Nigerians against underrating the APM and its presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Obi’s appearance at the event has generated reactions, given his emergence as the presidential candidate of the NDC.
