The Olu of Imasayi, Oba Lukman Kuoye, has declared his support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that Nigeria’s economy is steadily on the path to full recovery.
The traditional ruler made the declaration Tuesday at his palace in Imasayi, Yewa North local government area of Ogun state, during a press conference organised to mark his fifth coronation anniversary.
Oba Kuoye highlighted the visible impact of ongoing federal government infrastructure projects, particularly major road reconstructions and rehabilitations linking several communities across Ogun state and other parts of the country.
He urged observers to inspect key corridor, including Atan, Agbara, Olorule-Meji, and Imeko-Afon along the coastal highway axis to witness the extent of civil works currently being undertaken by the present administration.
Reflecting on his past in partisan politics under the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the monarch revealed he has long admired President Tinubu’s political pedigree and proven ability to mentor leaders across board.
Oba Kuoye added that economic restructuring requires patience, noting that no government can instantly transform a nation’s financial landscape overnight.
