The Presidency has slammed the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar, over his financial coverage.

It stated Atiku’s solely qualification earlier than becoming a member of the Nigerian Customs Service was as a sanitary inspector.

The Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga stated this in a publish on his verified X deal with.

Onanuga expressed surprise about what Atiku is aware of about economics.

According to him, Atiku’s solely qualification earlier than becoming a member of Customs was as a sanitary inspector, including that he is aware of nothing about economics.

The assertion was made in response to Atiku’s latest feedback on the financial system.

The Presidency stated Tinubu’s financial reforms have been working and Atiku shouldn’t distract Nigerians.
