Former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, has said he will not advise President Bola Tinubu through national television, preferring private channels of communication.

Fashola, who served as a minister under the previous administration, disclosed this while appearing on TVC’s Beyond The Headlines.“I don’t speak to President Tinubu from the television.

I have his ears, and when I need to see him, I have advised him on a few things, and I think we must keep that channel open,” he stated.

He added: “It’s not my intention to advise him on television. You can’t be shouting at somebody whose ears you have.”

Fashola’s comments reflects his belief in maintaining a discreet and direct line of advice to the president rather than engaging in public criticism or commentary.

The former governor has remained a key figure within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and a close ally of President Tinubu.
