Timaya: The only person you owe an apology is your husband – Comedian Akpororo tells RealWarriPikin
Comedian, Apkororo has asked his colleague, Real Warri Pikin, to stop apologising after a viral moment with singer Timaya at the 2026 AFRIMMA Awards in Dallas sparked reactions online.
The mum of four received heat from netizens after a video of her dancing with singer Timaya, surfaced online over the weekend. She was dragged for jumping on Timaya as he performed at the event. Some Netizens argued that she is a married woman and should know that such a dance act is not allowed.
Last night, she released a video, apologising to her fans. Her apology was, however, not received by some of her fans who have continued to drag her.
Reacting to the development via his Social media handle, Akpororo said Real Warri Pikin need not have apologised to anyone except her husband.
He argued that people turn the blind eye when married actresses k!ss during movies but are calling out Real Warri Pikin because she did the same thing their favorite married actresses do in movies.
