Rivers state chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Tuesday unveiled the management and organisational construction of its Governorship Campaign Council for the 2027 normal elections.

The council introduced collectively skilled political leaders, professionals, grassroots organisers, ladies, youths and different stakeholders entrusted with varied tasks within the coordination and administration of the marketing campaign actions throughout the 23 native authorities areas of Rivers state.

In a press release he personally signed Tuesday in Port Harcourt, the state chairman of ADC, Dr. Chukwudi Dimkpa, congratulated Senator Andrew Uchendu, chairman of the marketing campaign council; Hon. Chimbiko Akarolo, director-general; the vice chairmen, deputy directors-general, directorate leaders, division heads and all different appointees.

Dimkpa stated: “Every appointment carries a responsibility to serve with dedication, discipline, integrity, mutual respect and accountability”.

The ADC state chairman added  that the entire membership of the 12 directorates will probably be printed individually, two directorates every day, starting Wednesday, 14 October 2026, including that, “members whose names do not appear in today’s leadership announcement should therefore await the publication of their respective directorates.”

He urged all appointees to treat their tasks as a name to service and to work harmoniously inside the authorized marketing campaign council construction.

Dimkpa concluded by tasking members of the occasion and the marketing campaign council to stay dedicated to “the vision of building the Rivers we deserve.”
