Kano vigilantes remanded over alleged homicide
The defendants, Mas’udu Abdullahi Bachirawa and Kabiru Adamu Bachirawa, have been introduced earlier than the court docket by the police over allegations that they killed Umar following a disagreement involving a canine.
The case was heard by Garba Hamza Malafa, whereas the prosecution was led by Awaisu Sani Lawan, who requested the court docket to learn the costs to the defendants.
After the costs have been learn, each males pleaded not responsible.
The court docket granted the request and adjourned the case till December 16, 2026, for additional proceedings.
