ADC: 'Illegal Band of Marauders’ – Keyamo reacts to court docket ruling on David Mark, Atiku

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has described the sacked Senator David Mark-led management of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, as an “illegal band of marauders” following the Federal High Court ruling nullifying their actions on behalf of the celebration.

Keyamo, in a publish on his X deal with, stated the ADC remained alive and belonged to Nigerians and its authentic leaders, insisting that the celebration was not owned by David Mark and his supporters.

He accused the management of trying to hijack the celebration with the alleged connivance of a National Chairman with out acquiring prior approval from both a mini National Convention or the National Executive Committee, NEC.

According to him, the affected people couldn’t blame or blackmail the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, over a scenario he described as a misfortune intentionally created by them.

“Sorry, but the law is decided on facts and evidence, rather than sentiments and outrage by a group of people.

“The ADC as a party is well and alive and populated by people and original leaders who are no less Nigerians than David Mark and his illegal band of marauders,” Keyamo added.

Recall that the Federal High Court in Abuja had earlier on Thursday, sacked the David Mark-led ADC executives and nullified all actions taken by them on behalf of the celebration.

The affected actions embrace the nomination of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar because the celebration’s presidential candidate for the 2027 common elections.
