Reality TV star, Adeola Diiadem calls out her colleague and former bestie, Dabota Lawson; accuses her of using blogs of smear her name

The once-enviable friendship between beauty entrepreneurs and reality television stars, Adeola “Diiadem” Adeyemi and Dabota Lawson, has publicly imploded following a series of explosive allegations leveled on social media.

Taking to her Snapchat account on Thursday evening,August 13, Diiadem openly called out her former close friend, accusing Dabota of orchestrating a coordinated smear campaign against her through popular entertainment blogs.

Among the most damaging claims, Diiadem alleged that the highly publicized N5 million cash gift Lawson claimed she gifted her during her birthday preparations in January was entirely performative. According to Diiadem, the entire sum was quietly returned to Lawson immediately after it was sent to her. She further warned that she possesses more damaging information regarding Lawson’s personal and business dealings, threatening to leak the details publicly if provoked further.

The public falling-out marks a dramatic turning point for the duo, who became  inseparable after appearing together on reality TV show, The Real Housewives of Lagos.

However, eagle-eyed fans began speculating about their fall out few months ago when Diiadem failed to publicly acknowledge or celebrate Lawson’s birthday on social media. The silence stood in stark contrast to April, when Dabota penned an emotional birthday tribute to Diiadem on Instagram, and dominated headlines for her seemingly generous cash display during Diiadem’s birthday party.
