‘Pressing personal matters’ – #BBNaija organisers reveal reasons for Neche’s exit
The organisers of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV
show have revealed why housemate Neche took a voluntary exit from the
competition.
Shortly after Sunday’s eviction show, Neche gathered the
remaining housemates in the lounge and told them she was leaving the
competition.
The decision, however, shocked both fans and housemates, as
the reality star did not provide a concrete reason for her departure.
However, in a statement released by MultiChoice on Monday,
they said Neche’s decision was prompted by “pressing personal matters” that
required her immediate attention.
They also wished her well in her future endeavours, adding
that they would always consider her a part of the BBNaija family.
“MultiChoice Nigeria and the Big Brother Naija production
team confirm that housemate Neche exited the BBNaija Season 11 House
voluntarily, on Sunday, 16 August 2026,” the statement reads.
“Neche took this decision as a result of pressing personal
matters, which she said required immediate attention. We applaud Neche’s energy
and commitment to the show, evident in her notable wins and achievements in the
house.
“While we are sad to see her leave the house, we respect her
decision and wish her continued success in her endeavours. She remains part of
the BBNaija family, and we look forward to seeing all that she will achieve
beyond the show.”
