Poco Lee’s Team Denies ‘Drink Spiking’ Claims in UK Case

The management of Nigerian dancer, Poco Lee, has addressed circulating claims about “drink spiking” in connection with his ongoing legal case in the United Kingdom.

In a public notice dated August 25, 2026, the team clarified that such claims do not form part of the allegations or charges before the UK court.

“We are particularly concerned by the volume of unverified narratives currently circulating, including claims referencing ‘drink spiking’, among other allegations, which do not form part of any of the allegations or charges before the court,” the statement read.

The management urged the public and media to avoid spreading details not linked to the actual proceedings, warning that misinformation could fuel prejudice against all parties involved.

It further stressed that allegations should not be treated as evidence of guilt, noting that only the court process can determine the outcome of the case.

“Allegations are not evidence of guilt, and no conclusions should be drawn until the matter has been heard and determined through the appropriate legal process,” the team added.
