Oyo 2027: ADC candidate Adegoke proclaims self ‘best’ among APC, APM, others

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, has said he was the best among the candidates of the three popular parties in the state.

Adegoke who said this while answering questions on Arise News Television, “The Morning Show”, listed the three popular political parties in Oyo state as the ADC, Allied People’s Movement (APM) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, the APM candidate is an extension of the current government going by their slogan of Omituntun 3.0, while the issue of god fatherism was hanging on the neck of the APC candidate.

“Out of the three popular candidates of the three major parties – the APM, APC and ADC –  I’m the beautiful bride, not tainted with no Godfather but God Almighty is my father”, he said.

On his plans if elected as governor, he pledged to build rail line from Moniya in Ibadan to Saki in the Oke Ogun area of the state to ensure easy transportation of farm produce from the Oke Ogun to the market in Ibadan and other south western states.

The ADC governorship candidate noted that the rail line project was becoming necessary and would be a top priority for his government because Oke-Ogun is the food basket of Oyo state, noting that easy transportation of farm produce from the area to the market will be a win-win situation for farmers and the urban populace in Ibadan and other states who are the major consumers.

Olooye Adegoke while stressing that he would do everything to assist the farmers in the state when he assumed power in 2027, said his economic blueprints were embedded in his political slogan, ‘Solutions 2027’.

He disclosed that it comprised security of lives and properties; organic development of agriculture; jobs, urban renewal of major cities; turning around of the health and education sectors; industrial revolutions and infrastructure development.

Others, according to the candidate included on the job training for teachers and special schemes/status for them; new technologies deployment in every area of government businesses, in addition to socio-economic development.
